According to the creators of the list, the wealth figures are estimates. The basis for the ranking was company ratings and research in publicly available archives, commercial and real estate registers. The ranking also includes some Franconian billionaires and millionaires. We have compiled the biggest fortunes in the region.
The Brandstätter family from Zirndorf was also mentioned in an earlier version of the article. It was not correct in this form. The family does not, as stated, have a multi-billion fortune. Company owner Horst Brandstätter had transferred the company into two foundations.
